Currently Multi Vastgoed is working on development projects throughout several countries in Europe, 14 in total. Of course, a lot of these are very prestigious projects. For instance the development of the Victoria Square in Northern Ireland. This retail centre opened in Belfast in 2008 and offers around 75.000 square meters of office and residential space. Along with the shopping centre came brands like House of Fraser, Odeon en H&M, which had not been seen in the Northern Irish city until then. So, the Victoria Square really helped revitalisation of Belfast's city centre.
Besides maintaining existing projects, Multi Vastgoed is also working on new projects, such as the Boulevard Berlin. In the next couple of years, Berlin's Schloßstraße will become the venue of one of the biggest shopping centres in Germany, offering 76.000 square meters of space. The shopping centre will kick off the modernisation of the Schloßstraße and will house the Karstadt and Wertheim department stores. The development of the project is scheduled to end in 2012.
Multi Vastgoed has also started development in former Eastern Europe. A good example is the Chodov Centre in Prague. Chodov is a mixed residential and business area to the southeast of Prague. The Chodov Centre opened in 2005 and is currently known as the largest shopping centre in the Czech Republic. It encompasses 130.000 square meters of office, retail and residential space..
Multi is also represented in Turkey where it is currently working on several projects, for instance the Forum Antalya. This three-storey shopping centre is designed as a small Mediterranean city and will include a Modern Art Museum, a city park and an aquarium. Antalya will therefore gain a shopping centre of international quality standards, which will serve as the city centre of this tourist attraction. The centre will be completed in early 2012.
